Thermal Framing

Thermal framing is a cost effective method of glazing buildings and providing high thermal performance. It is a bead glaze system suitable for low rise screens.

Designed for 28 or 32mm glazed units, the framing system uses the polyamide technology to ensure high thermal performance. Where glazed units are not suitable, the system can also be used with solid infill panels.

Thermal framing is ideal for application in schools, public and commercial buildings where thermal efficiency must comply with the building regulations laid out in document L. Suitable to be used in conjunction with the commercial door and polyamide systems, thermal framing is a versatile glazing solution.

The system is constructed in pre-fabricated ladder frames as conventional commercial aluminium framing with box and plate mullions and screw ported transoms. This ensures that fabrication and installation is both simple and efficient.
