45 and 50mm Window System

Suitable for commercial new build projects the two different window sections are an economic method of glazing a building and ensuring it is thermally efficient. Both systems are used to create open out, top and side hung casement window styles.

As standard the window profiles are not thermally broken. This can be done to improve the thermal performance of the system. The thermal break minimises the heat transfer and subsequent heat loss by bridging the aluminium with a resin barrier.

When thermally broken the system achieves a U-value of 2.2W/m2K, the requirement for new commercial buildings, as specified by the current regulations in document ADL2A.

The 45mm window system may be used as replacements for steel window frames. Offering slim profiles this type of window casement is often specified when planning restrictions must be met.

The 45mm casement window is externally beaded for economy, while the 50mm casement window is internally beaded, and has a greater range of hardware.
